Donations

The Information Warfare Foundation of India (IWF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing cybersecurity, digital defense, and information warfare research in India. We rely on donations to support our mission and operations.

Donation Refund Policy

We value the support of our donors and take our commitment to responsible stewardship of donations seriously. Our policy regarding donation refunds is as follows:

• Erroneous Donations: If you have made a donation in error (e.g., duplicate transaction, incorrect amount), we will issue a full refund upon request, provided the request is made within 30 days of the donation date.
• Technical Issues: If a technical error on our website results in an unintended donation or an incorrect amount being charged, we will promptly issue a full refund upon notification.
• Fraudulent Transactions: In cases of unauthorized or fraudulent transactions, we will cooperate fully with you and your financial institution to resolve the issue and process a refund as appropriate.

To request a refund for a donation, please contact us at donations@iwf.org.in with your name, donation date, amount, and reason for the refund request. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

Programs and Events

The Information Warfare Foundation of India (IWF) offers various programs, workshops, training sessions, and events throughout the year. Our refund policy for these activities is as follows:

Registration Cancellations

• 30+ Days Prior: Full refund, less a 5% administrative fee.
• 15-29 Days Prior: 75% refund of the registration fee.
• 7-14 Days Prior: 50% refund of the registration fee.
• 0-6 Days Prior: No refund, but registration may be transferred to another individual or a future event within 12 months.

Event Cancellations by IWF

If the Information Warfare Foundation of India (IWF) cancels an event or program, registrants will be offered the following options:

• Full refund of the registration fee
• Transfer of registration to a future event
• Conversion of the registration fee to a donation (with receipt provided)

Services and Products

For consulting services, educational materials, publications, or other products offered by the Information Warfare Foundation of India (IWF), the following refund policy applies:

Digital Products

• Before Access/Download: Full refund available within 7 days of purchase if the product has not been accessed or downloaded.
• After Access/Download: No refund available once the digital product has been accessed, downloaded, or the access credentials have been provided.

Consulting Services

• Before Service Commencement: Full refund, less a 10% administrative fee, if cancelled at least 14 days before the scheduled start date.
• After Service Commencement: Prorated refund based on the portion of services not yet delivered, less a 10% administrative fee.

For custom or tailored services, specific refund terms will be outlined in the service agreement or contract.

Membership Fees

For membership programs offered by the Information Warfare Foundation of India (IWF), the following refund policy applies:

• Within 14 Days: Full refund available within 14 days of membership purchase if no member benefits have been utilized.
• After 14 Days: No refund available after 14 days of membership purchase or if any member benefits have been utilized.
• Annual Renewals: Automatic renewals can be cancelled at any time before the renewal date without penalty.

Processing of Refunds

All approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible. Please note the following:

• Credit/debit card refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
• Bank transfers may take 7-14 business days to process.
• For payments made through third-party payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Razorpay), refund processing times are subject to their policies.

If the original payment method is no longer available or valid, we will work with you to determine an alternative refund method.

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

2. Provide your full name, contact information, and transaction details (date, amount, and transaction ID if available).
3. Explain the reason for your refund request.
4. Include any supporting documentation that may be relevant to your request.

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. If your refund request is approved, we will process it according to the guidelines outlined in this policy.

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time.
